Congratulations to Lorena and Dale for their magical November Wedding at the historical Hotel Congress.  This venue is very special to us because this is where my Wife and I tied the knot as well.   We also attended The 80s night Parties every Monday, their Halloween Parties, and New Years Eve Parties, religiously for years.  The Hotel Congress opened its doors in 1919, and survived a fire and John Dillinger, and still stands today hosting Weddings, Concerts and the biggest Celebrations in Tucson.  A fitting Venue for Lorena and Dale who can party with the best of them.  We enjoyed spending the day with this fantastic Couple Photographing this Special Day.

Jennifer and David Tucson Wedding/ Rosenblums Eclectic Photography

Rosenblums' Eclectic Photography- Tucson Wedding Photography Jennifer and David Tucson Wedding Z Mansion

My wife and went on assignment to the charming downtown Z Mansion, on a cool, light, breezy September afternoon.   At this jewel of a Venue, which often hosts a breakfast for Tucson’s Homeless,  We were greeted by white balloons, and Wedding signs, indicating that this was the spot for Jennifer and Davids Very Special Day.  With our cameras in hand, we met Jennifer and her lively Bridesmaids upstairs for some Bride preparation photography, which Jennifer was absolutely stunning.  As the day progressed we went down to the Z Mansion’s unique basement to meet the Groom David and his Groomsmen, where we joined in the laughter as they swapped native Chicago Stories. The Ceremony, Dinner, and Dancing was held in Z Mansions backyard under  Tucson’s Moonlight.

Thanks to Jennifer Christiansen Beaton, for all your photography help and inspiration.

Best wishes Jennifer and David

Aloft Hotel /Rosenblums Eclectic Photography

Aloft University of Arizona Hotel

Aloft University of Arizona Hotel

My wife and I had the honor of staying at The University Aloft Hotel.  Aloft hotel is located at 1900 E Speedway Blvd, which is a minutes walk to the University of Arizona and a short drive to Tucsons Famous 4th Ave Art District.  This Hotel has a very modern, contemporary look, which is unlike any other hotel.   We relaxed in the Splash area during the day and played pool while enjoying libations at the Re:mix lounge that night.  We recommend  walking to the Tucson Sunlink, and taking it to the Tucson Downtown area for a night of dinning, dancing and, ect.  By the way the Hotel is very dog friendly.

Trip Advisor-If you want a cool and convenient place to stay while visiting your student at U of A, this is the place! Very close to campus, new, cool style, friendly staff, plenty of parking either underground or behind. Kind of unique experience compared to other properties. Very clean, good food and a fun bar for that anytime drink. Has a decent w to out facility too. Fairly moderate price, I would say worth every penny.

My wife and I religiously take a weekend off to unwind and get away from life’s stress.   Destination J.W. Marriott Starr Pass, located on 50 acres adjacent  to the Tucson Mountain Park. First we hit the Valet parking, then check in, and make our way to our Deluxe Room with our own personal balcony with breathtaking desert views.  Next we put on our swim suits on and go to the Marriott Pool, which features spas, a water slide, and The Lazy River for relaxing on a tube with a tasty beverage. After we finish getting our bronze on, we put on our formal duds, and go to the Signature Grill to enjoy terrace dining over looking Tucson.   First thing in the morning, I enjoy the 36 hole Championship Arnold Palmer Golf Course, (where you always see desert wild life), while my wife decides on a manicure, massage, or a body wrap at the Marriotts Spa.  Rosenblums’ Eclectic Photography, which is Tucson’s Premier Wedding and Family portrait  photographers, famous for 2 for 1 photography, personally rates Marriott Starr Pass 5 Stars.  Not only being as a guest is fantastic, but it is also a pleasure to work weddings at this great venue!  Visit there Wed Site and  book your stay or wedding today!

Saint Augustine Cathedral

St Augustine Cathedral

St Augustine Cathedral

Saint Augustine Cathedral, in the heart of Downtown Tucson, is the Roman Catholic Mother Church in the Old Pueblo.  In 1860s Father Joseph Machebeuf conducted a survey of the Tucson area, and decided that this area with a population of 600, needs a Church.  Originally built in 1868, rebuilt in 1897, then transformed to a brick structure in 1928, and finally completed in a Mexican baroque form, in 1928.  This Cathedral has Pope Pius XI Coat of Arms, a large 13th century Crucifix, a pipe organ, and beautiful stain glass windows.  St. Augustine Cathedral will host your Spiritual and Sacramental Wedding with a 1250 seating capacity and a lot of banquet space with an outdoor placita.  Go to there Web Site for wedding guidelines.

Trip Advisor Reviews

“St Augustine Cathedral is a beautiful, old landmark Catholic Church in downtown Tucson. The main cathedral has three Alters, gorgeous stained glass windows and wood bench seating. The entire vestibule of the church is painted with a life-size mural of different figures prominent in the Catholic Church.”

“Go see this incredible Cathedral. They have some of the most beautiful stain glass windows I have ever seen. Be sure on the inside to stop in the middle and look up. A surprise. Go check it out and while there say a prayer for a loved one. Very beautiful inside. A must see!”
